I've just updated my guestbook and archives page to match this new layout and hopefully worked all the bugs out of the bugs out of this one since I decided to use it before it was done so the 3 or 4 people who read this please check them out and let me know what you think. This is officially my first entry on the new 'Whenever it rains' layout. Why did I call it that? No particular reason except that at the time when I needed a title, the line 'whenever it rains i feel this way' from a D'Angelo song was my pet lyric. I wanted it to look simple and sophisticated so I used the French Script MT font despite the fact that I hate the capitals for this font. I used the text transform thing to make all capitals appear lowercase but I have not decided whether to keep that feature yet.

I don't know whether it was planned or not but the issue of how much time we would be getting off from work for Christmas came up today. Not only are we getting Christmas Eve off but we're getting the day before that off too and since Christmas is on a Thursday we're getting the Friday off too. So we are pretty much only working on Monday that week but I took the opportunity to beg for Monday off so I could go home for the week. He said his usual 'yeah, yeah, no problem' because I was like 'I want to go home for Christmas' and the others were like 'yeah let him go...' The point is I have a week off and I'm off to spend the holidays at home. [yay!!] I was already planning out loud to be in the airport after work on Friday but I was reminded that I work on Saturdays so I had to amend that plan to Saturday night after work. Which reminds me now that I don't know if we are working the Saturday after Christmas but knowing the other guys who work there I'm thinking that's a big fat no. All that's left to do is call my mommy and tell her she can buy my ticket now.

So yeah good news today.
