"General, with all due respect, fuck you."

Yesterday we (AFC) planned our activities for the next quarter, normal stuff, nothing exciting happened. We did however plan yet another 'Talent on Parade' (in house talent show). i don't believe any of them came off well so far. Mostly because most of us don't really have much talent or don't like to perform and not even the 'performers' take the kind of interest in it that i would expect or desire, so what u basically end up with is a list of acts that don't get acted and a bunch of last minute entries. Or at least that's what happened last year when I co-ordinated it and the first time it was planned (those being the only 2 times i was present) and as far as I've heard other such events were even worse. They scheduled this next attempt for the last day of this quarter and by them I'll probably be back in T&T at school so I didn't volunteer to be responsible this time. i sincerly hope that everyone will be motivated to participate this time and that people will follow through on their ideas. [heavy sigh]

Anyway onto other news. Went to church this morning and the place seems to be getting back to normal i.e. like 80-90% full during the service. I hope the trend continues.
My uncle is getting married so my mommy is going to his wedding - in England. Not only is she going to London but she is going to see Europe with her sister. What a cool thing to do huh? So my mommy is gone for a whole month. Now you'd think it would be a big deal but it's not really, i think both my brother and I are used to her travelling alot. I mean it reached the point a long time ago where she stopped bringing back stuff for us but this time we're getting some shit [me rubbing my hands together in anticipation with an evil grin - all on the inside].

Anyway so she gave my bro and I money to start learning how to drive. Why does it have to be so expensive? You have to get a checkup and a permit and then there's all the classes and whatever other stuff you have to pay for (i dunno i never checked). So tomorrow bright and early we're off to the capital to do stuff!!.
