it's monday and as per usual these days i don't really feel like writing anything but i think i will proceed to write a very long entry detailing my very boring weekend.

Friday night i went to choir practice for the first time since i got back. it was kool, normal. except TOH is singing bass now [he sounds much better as a bass than a tenor] so now we have a decent bass section. he probably switched over because in my absence the other bass apparently stopped coming to practice for a while so the 3rd bass aka the only guy in the choir who really can't hold a note, was singing on his own. [i witnessed that on old year's night - disaster to say the least]. anyway it was both my and MMM's first day back and so we both crammed sunday's song. bear in mind that we usually sing 2/3 songs a night so it usually takes us a few weeks to learn a song. there is this one part of the song that i really love coz usually i read all the notes while i sing but the notes in this section were too quick and too close to each other for me to do it my normal way so i had to learn it by ear from the other guys and my voice just kinda floats over the notes [sigh - so kool].

saturday we were supposed to have our weekly youth meeting at a guy's house coz it was his b'day but it rained all fucking day so they cancelled it. so i ended up staying home all saturday.

sunday i wore a tie and looked really hot. we had a special service to honour some members who did a lot of work in the church [the youngest was 70 something]. one of the ladies, who is half blind and deaf, was so happy to be there coz usually she can't come. if i had a heart i would find it so heartening that just being there could bring a person so much joy but i just thought it was really cool. [NB no i'm not a valley girl!] after all the persentations and useless talk the choir sang and it was really good, we [the bass, who were literaly only singing the song for the 3rd/4th time] held our own with the usually overpowering sopranos et al, and everyone sang lustily and it was all round great. and it was also the first time we performed with piano accompaniment coz our pianist has never been confident enough before. GO SC!! (although i AM partial to acapella).
i crashed after lunch and was awakened by my kid brother stealing my track pants to go to La Toc w/MMM & TOH. so i got my blk ass up and went with them. we had a really good time. we played round the world and i actually got the ball in the hoop a few times. YAY me!! there was this guy who passed the car while i was sitting there watching the guys play. he was so cute. shirtless and fair, his chest was very well defined but not big; medium just the way i like to see a guy. he didn't stay long so i didn't get a chance to really lust after him.

i think this entry is long enough now so maybe next time i'll talk about the cute guy quotient of SLU and how i think about whether a guy is gay/interested in me anytime a cute one looks at me.

i almost forgot. 2 of my boys got baptised sunday night. i need a whole entry to talk about that one.
