yesterday i went to Port of Spain to collect my diploma among other things and i'm very happy to say that it all went smoothly i.e. i didn't get lost and i didn't forget anything and i handled talking to the people very well so i'm proud of me. but i did however find something to add the the heap of shit that has happend to me for this year. i finaly got my diploma (with a mark of distinction!!) but my name is spelled wrong. like instead of Daryn Adrian Draven it has Daren Adrian Draven. i mean what are the chances that there is another guy in trinidad doing the same course as me who has such a similar name to mineand they just gave us the wrong ones. i'm thinkin somewhere between 0 and nil. i was not sure whether this was a minor thing that could be overlooked so i showed it to my cousin and i told my mom about it and they said i should do something about it. so this morning as soon as i woke up i wrote a very nice professional sounding letter that i'm going to fax to them tomorow.

in other news i spoke to TOH this morning when i went online to send my mom a copy of the letter.

i almost forgot. yesterday FA's friend/bf (whtever he is) had to take me to town coz i didn't know where Edward st. was. anyway we had a very nice convo on the way there about TNT vs. SLU and about music. the two being a topic i actually know about and my favorite topic in the world, respectively. and i just realised that i didn't feel that sense of accomplishment i usually feel after i have a decent convo with somebody, so either i'm getting used to the idea of talking or he's just easy to talk to or most likely both. btw he's really cute and he has long dreds (which i like) but that's beside the point. and it seems i have forgotten the point so in the words of porky pig: b-d-de-de-de-b- that's all folks.
