dang y'all, the flight home is so damn long now. it's all because BWIA is broke i suppose. they already got rid of all their small planes so when i came here i had to get a big one from the south airport. now they have no direct flight to SLU from here so i have to go to Barbados on a 7:00am flight, as in SEVEN flippin AM y'all, which means i'll have to be AWAKE!! from at least 5. then after a 50 min flight, in which time i could have gotten home, i will have to stay in the Barbados airport till 1:25pm. that's 5 HOURS in one of the most boring airports in the Caribbean. let's just hope my mother doesn't arrange to have her cousin there pick me up or worse yet one of her friends. then a thrilling 40 minute ride on one of the little LIAT planes before i finally get home. i guess that an upside is that i could probably try to meet a cute bajan boy or girl with a car who can come meet me while i wait but that highly unlikely and plus i kinda have a thing about bajans since i've only heard bad things about them.

so besides the nine hour trip home i just realised that i will be a lot further away from the airport when i move and lacking a ride but i suppose i could spend the night before here so i don't have to be up at 3 to get my black ass out to the airport on time. that means i'll have to go a day later - although it is possible to leave the apartment right after the last exam and then travel in the morning. now D u know there's no way that's gonna work, u know yourself better than that. plus spending the night here will give me a chance to say goodbye to my little cousin. yeah D, u can't just up and leave the country after abandoning the kid for a whole month

can you believe this? i just can't stop laughing, really. Thank God my dad is practically a techie and although my mother calls me long distance to ask me PC stuff she's no where near that bad.
